How do I SSH into a linux server

First, if you're on windows, you can download a program called Putty
2nd, open the program and put in your IP and login as root

If you have Ubuntu/Debian, root maybe disabled so you need to use the specified username in the welcome email sent to you to SSH. Then use sudo to become root.
