Hi,

I cannot seem to get into the VM I have with you. I've tried multiple times, both of these don't work:

ssh: connect to host 107.155.192.xx port 22: Network is unreachable

ssh: connect to host xx@s1.freeserver.us port 22: Connection refused

vps id 2659

thank you

For anyone reading this I managed to get it to work. Had to use centos 6 and the control panels file editor to add a ssh key (because for some reason it wouldnt take a root pw)

I found that after my VPS was created that the password given just would not take.  I ended up adding my own SSH key, and then rebuilding the host so it would function.

As I tried, the Hyper VM on freeserver.us has problem to set the root password on CentOS7 64bit / CentOS6 32/64bit.

When you ssh to your server IP, the default password is not the one in Hyper VM, and you can not login.

Other OS are OKey, however, the other os are too old to use.

I will try to change the root password by change the setting file in CentOS6/7. I will update when I make it.

Frank Lin is right, and  you need to wait 3-5 minutes after rebuild. then all things work.

It is really  weird that, after several rebuids (CentOS6), I can login with the password before the rebuid.

I donot know the reason. However, when I login, there are so many  "Cannot allocate memory" warning.

I cannot execute any command at all.

The free vps is difficult to use, and doubt on the charged vps with low resource.

The free plan is really made only for Centos 5 32-bit, it is not really made for newer OS. The free plan has limit of 25 processes. You should consider our paid plans for more options on the OS and no such limit.
